lol, for me it's the opposite now.
If I use Fastload, the game works. If I use the regular starter, I got the same error like pedrin.

//Update: Fixed by deleting the contents of the Hackshield folder, so it could update again.

pedrin, you have to delete "C++ program" of your computer.

(Start -> Control Panel -> Program Installation and Uninstaller)

You are right. This error message won't appear probably - but your game too xD
If a part of the game is written in C++, it needs the runtimes (which i linked above) of course.

mm bad update for me too, I get everytime I try to log in Hack-detect from my hackshield...

For me 2. Bugs are not fixed and more dcs. Btw the wardrobe is a good idea.

@tal & pedrin: I read in the german forum, that you can try to download an older version of the c++ runtimes, so it might work. I linked you the newest one from 2008. Maybe you could try this one:

delete the 2008-version before.
